WHAT IS PAINT PROTECTION FILM?

PPF is a comprehensive form of protection which can be applied to the top coat of painted surfaces of a new or used car. It is a protective layer made of urethane which is transparent, light weight and highly resistant to scratches and rock chips. PPF works as a shield against corrosion, mineral deposits, chemical and acidic contaminants and guards the original paint from fading caused by UV rays, bird droppings, and tree sap. In our paint protection procedures, we use best global brands which are highly recognized in the automotive industry to ensure the guaranteed protection. These products are of superior quality with none of peeling, cracking, yellowing, and blistering which occurs with ordinary film protection. Differences Between Vinyl and PPF ?

When learning the differences between vinyl and paint protection film, there tends to be a lot of confusion. In simple terms, paint protection film is a much lighter and thinner version of vinyl or wrap. Wrapping material does not benefit from the same self-healing properties as PPF, however it can provide some additional protection for the paintwork underneath.

 

Paint protection film also tends to be either fully transparent, or as a matt finish to help look after the existing paint work. It’s recommended that you also have the vehicle paint corrected before installing the film – this removes imperfections in the paintwork before locking in that top layer.
