TRANSFORM YOUR RIDE
CHANGE YOUR VEHICLE COLOR WITHOUT PAINT JOBS
Allegiance Customs is proud to offer car vinyl wrap for cars owners looking for a close resemblance of a paint job.
Unlike our vehicle graphic wraps, our paint vehicle wraps in Mitcham, london require the full disassembly of your vehicle as well as a thorough 5 step cleaning process. This ensures every edge and corner is perfectly wrapped, with lines so fine they’re barely noticeable.
CHOOSE FROM A WIDE RANGE OF COLOURS AND FINISH
THE PREPARATION PROCESS
The first step of the vinyl car wrap process involves full disassembly of your vehicle.
We then perform a thorough clean of all components, including a full detail and a wash to get rid of any dust or dirt lying around.
Next, we use a clay bar to make sure the surface is properly prepared for car vinyl wrap and is free of road grime and tar. We also remove trims, bumpers, taillights, headlights, door handles and other exterior parts to ensure the areas behind them are clean and free of excess dirt before the car vinyl wrap is applied.
Once this comprehensive clean is complete, the final step before we apply vehicle wraps is to finish the surface with a 70% isopropyl alcohol detail.
A simple strip or decal installation will take about half a day to a full day. The standard single colour full wrap will take between 5 to 7 days depending on the vehicle’s type. Allow an additional 2 to 3 days for more complex printed design or overlay wrap.
A quality vinyl wrap can stay between 4 to 6 years on the vehicle depending on conditions, care and overall treatment. At Allegiance Customs, we use the very best Avery and 3M products available in the industry, all backed by our one-year installation warranty.
No, but improper installation or removal can! A poor installation means your vehicle’s paint might get damaged from razor blade scratches, and poor adhesion that ultimately leads to wrap failure. Also, if the wrong type of film is used during the application like a sign vinyl with extra strength adhesive or low flexibility, it can strip your paint and cause serious damage if and when it is not removed with care!
Absolutely. The wrap is actually applied to the vehicle using heat and pressure-sensitive adhesives that can be reactivated and removed by our installers. The removal process is short and does not damage the vehicle
Most opaque and textured wrap films are thin and pliable so they can stretch easily during application. Unfortunately, thinner films are more prone to failure, and typically do not offer much paint protection. However, our Paint Protection Film is around 8.5 millimetres thick which offers ultimate protection. For more information feel free to contact us.
